The trial of the officers accused of murdering Sean Bell starts today. This is a case very relevant to all of us.. b/c truth is that it could have been any one of our brothers, fathers, husbands, cousins etc out there. The NYPD has been altogether too damn reckless with it's power & they have far too many dirty cops working out there! What happened to protect and serve? Is it now Shoot and ask Questions later??

It will be interesting to see how this case turns out. I know thaat for my peacefule, no prior having, very good friend/brother Prince Carmen Jones, Jr. in DC the cop GOT OFF (YES I AM STILL PISSED ABOUT IT AND THE CASE IS IN APPEALS) so I will be watching this one very closely. I have various and sundry opinions regarding renegade/wreckless cops. Hell, that could have been any one of us! Trust I have been pulled out of my Dad's Cadillac at gunpoint in Pittsburgh too many times to know. Hopefully in this case...justice will be truly served.
I'm watching this too because for some reason I don't think justice will be served but I hope that I'm proven wrong. If cops continue to get off for blatant acts of violence how can a the community they're suppose to protect really and truly trust them.
K, I remember that case and that was truly f-ed up...
yeah this is a very interesting case indeed.this happend right in my hood and the strip club they were at i have been to on several occassions. the heart of the matter is they were in the wrong place@ the wrong time. the cops were there undercover because of the alledged prostitution and illegal drug sales that were said to be going on@the club.
i have never seen so many cops in my life tearing up the streets, looking through sewers around buildings trying to find a gun that was never there.they fucked up for real. there is no way possible to justify 50 shots.
